Introduction

Compare Your Parking Deals (CYPD) is a booking agent, connecting customers with independent parking service providers. CYPD does not own, operate, or control any parking services. Responsibility for the provision of parking services, including the handling and security of vehicles, rests entirely with the selected service provider.

By using this website and completing a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, along with the terms of your chosen service provider. Customers should carefully review all service provider terms before booking.

These Terms are governed by English law and apply from the moment a booking confirmation is received via email. If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining Terms shall remain in full force.

CYPD reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, but any modifications will only apply to future bookings. The Terms in effect at the time of booking will remain applicable.

Bookings

  • Customers must review all relevant service provider details before booking.
  • A booking is confirmed once you receive a booking reference number via email.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation email, contact us immediately to avoid cancellation or no-show fees.
  • CYPD reserves the right to cancel bookings if a service provider is unable to fulfil a reservation. In such cases, a full refund will be issued, but CYPD accepts no liability for indirect losses, such as travel expenses or missed flights.
  • Bookings are non-transferable and must match the traveler’s name.

Mystery or Saver Products

  • Customers booking a Mystery or Saver deal acknowledge that car park details are only revealed after payment.
  • If a Mystery or Saver product is not suitable or does not meet your expectations, standard cancellation terms will apply, and any cancellation request will be subject to the applicable cancellation fees and conditions.
  • If the service provider fails to deliver the booked service, CYPD will assist in securing a refund or alternative service where possible.
  • CYPD is not responsible for dissatisfaction arising from Mystery or Saver bookings. Customers should book with the understanding that full details will only be disclosed after booking confirmation.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure contact details are correct at the time of booking.
  • Follow the service provider’s arrival instructions and retain booking confirmation for verification.
  • Customers should not leave valuables in their vehicles and must check the service provider’s policy on dashcams or tracking devices, as these may be deactivated for security reasons.
  • Service providers may relocate vehicles between secure compounds for operational or security reasons. If specific requirements exist, customers should confirm directly with the provider before booking.

Prices & Payments

  • All prices are in GBP (£) and apply to pre-booking only.
  • A non-refundable booking fee is included in all reservations.
  • Payments must be made via credit/debit card or PayPal and are processed securely through third-party payment processors. Customers should note that third-party payment processor names may appear on their bank/card statement instead of CYPD.
  • If a payment is declined, CYPD or the service provider reserves the right to cancel the booking.
  • Service providers may apply additional fees, including:
  • Terminal parking charges
  • Late pick-up fees
  • Oversized vehicle surcharges
  • VAT Receipts: As a booking agent, CYPD does not provide VAT invoices directly. However, upon request, we can liaise with the service provider to obtain a VAT receipt for your booking where applicable.

Amendments & Cancellations

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be requested in writing via email or phone within office hours.
  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before drop-off will incur a £15 admin fee, unless cancellation cover was purchased.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 48 hours of the drop-off time or for no-shows.
  • Non-flexible, discounted, or promotional products (such as Saver or Mystery deals) may be subject to cancellation restrictions, in which case standard cancellation terms apply.

Amendment Policy

  • Changes made within 48 hours of drop-off will incur a £15 admin fee.
  • Amendments requested after vehicle drop-off must be made directly with the service provider.
  • Extending a parking period may result in extra charges, payable to the service provider.

Cancellation Cover

  • If purchased, cancellation cover allows for cancellations up to 48 hours before drop-off with a full refund, excluding the booking fee.
  • Cancellation cover does not apply to same-day bookings or certain restricted products.

Accuracy of Information & Updates

  • All service information displayed on CYPD is provided by third-party service providers.
  • While CYPD strives for accuracy, details may change. Customers should verify critical service features with the provider before booking.
  • If inaccuracies arise, CYPD will take reasonable steps to correct them.

Service Provider Terms & Responsibilities

  • CYPD does not endorse, inspect, or guarantee the standards or security of any service provider. Listings are based on information provided by service providers, and customers must verify service details before booking.
  • Vehicles must be roadworthy before drop-off.
  • Service providers may transfer vehicles between compounds for security or operational reasons. These compounds may not offer identical features. Customers with specific requirements should discuss them directly with the provider.
  • Additional service provider fees (e.g., extended parking, large vehicle charges) must be settled directly with the provider.

Insurance & Liability

  • Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
  • CYPD is not responsible for:
    • Loss or damage to vehicles or contents.
    • Delays caused by service providers.
    • Theft or vandalism at the parking location.
    • Customers should not leave valuables in their vehicles and must arrange appropriate insurance.
    • CYPD does not verify service provider insurance policies. Customers should check directly with providers for coverage details.
    • CYPD’s liability for booking errors is limited to the amount paid for the reservation, except where statutory consumer rights entitle customers to a higher level of compensation.

Complaints

Service-Related Complaints

  • If issues arise with the parking service (e.g., vehicle damage, service quality), customers must raise complaints directly with the service provider.
  • If customers are unable to resolve a dispute, CYPD will assist in facilitating communication but does not assume responsibility for resolution.

Booking Process Complaints

Data Privacy & Communication

  • Personal data is collected only for booking purposes and is not shared with third parties beyond service providers and payment processors.
  • Customers agree to receive booking confirmation emails and relevant promotional offers. They may unsubscribe at any time.

Disclaimers

  • CYPD does not inspect, endorse, or guarantee the security or quality of service providers.
  • Customers should confirm service details with the provider before booking.
  • Parking is entirely at the owner’s risk, and CYPD accepts no responsibility for theft, damage, or loss.

Agreement & Acceptance

By proceeding with a booking through CYPD, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, as well as the terms of the service provider you are booking with.

CYPD facilitates bookings between customers and service providers and is not responsible for the direct provision of parking services.
