Blue Badge & Special Assistance Parking at Bristol Airport
Bristol Airport provides Blue Badge bays in every official car park and a special assistance service for passengers with reduced mobility. Around 15,000 reduced-mobility passengers use the airport each month, so a little planning ahead makes the journey smoother.
Every official Bristol Airport car park has designated Blue Badge bays on a first-come basis; Blue Badge holders also get 40 minutes in the Drop & Go zone for £8.50, and special assistance should be booked through your airline at least 48 hours ahead.
All shuttle buses carry wheelchair ramps and can take one wheelchair, and the Transport Interchange links to the terminal by a flat-level covered bridge.
Where are the Blue Badge bays at Bristol Airport?
Blue Badge bays sit in the Silver Zone drop-off area (rows 313-340), in the centre of the Short Stay car park, and on Level 2 of the Multi-Storey. Bays cannot be reserved and are first-come. In Silver Zone, if you return and your car is not in a Blue Badge-suitable space, you can ask for it to be moved at collection.
How do I arrange special assistance?
Book assistance through your airline at least 48 hours before you travel, so the right help and equipment are ready. On arrival, use the assistance call points at the Transport Interchange and the Assisted Travel team will meet you. Requesting help late or on the day can mean delays.
Is there accessible drop-off and pick-up?
Yes. Blue Badge holders get up to 40 minutes in the Drop & Go zone for £8.50, scanning the badge at the exit barrier, and the free Waiting Zone has two Blue Badge bays. Wheelchair-accessible shuttles run from the car parks, and there are help buttons on the entry and exit barriers across the car parks.
